Youth and alumni from Louisiana's foster care system are asking legislators to extend foster care to the age of 21. One advocate, Spearman, shared why he believes foster care should be extended to age 21. "I realize that this would be a huge shift in state law, but no child deserves to have a destiny sealed by circumstances beyond their control."
