Janel Waterman

Janel Waterman lives in Newport, Washington, where she enjoys spending time with her family, growing and preserving food, and baking. A proud mother of seven, she loves reading—especially real books over e-books. Janel became interested in this work through her involvement in a statewide Parent Advisory Group and its Executive Council, and was excited to join a national effort as well. As a Lived Experience Advisory Board member, she hopes to build understanding and share valuable resources with parents and caregivers. Janel holds a BS in Transportation & Logistics and has experience as a USAF Instructor Pilot, stay-at-home mom, and childcare provider.
